Supporting Primary Health Networks to implement stepped care for mental health planning - June 2017

AbstractThe Australian Government Department of Health commissioned The University of Queensland (UQ) to host the ‘shared learnings from the early implementation of stepped care: A Primary Health Network (PHN) collaborative planning workshop’ (workshop). The workshop was held on February 22 – 23 2017 in Canberra and was attended by over 100 stakeholders including PHN representatives from all 31 PHNs. The workshop provided an opportunity for detailed discussions and sharing of the core issues and challenges faced by PHNs when implementing a stepped care approach to mental health services.
