An apparatus for discharging liquid

The invention concerns a device (24) for evacuating liquid from a roller (10), in particular of a paper machine, comprising a support body (16) and a shell enclosing the latter, said device comprising a plurality of conduits (28) through which the liquid from a base (26) formed in the roller (10) is sucked into a channel-like collector (30). The conduits (28) are rigidly assembled to the associated common collecting container (30). The collecting container (30) is mounted, isostatic, in two points (38) on the support body (16).
