The TKS maker place: It's in their hands

2018
Ernest Hemingway created his 'iceberg theory' to explain his minimalist writing style, whereby what can be seen written on the page is just the tip of the much deeper, unwritten story. This same theory might also be used to explain the character of our makerspace - The Maker Place; there is the visible portion that is readily identifiable by its resources and activities, and then there is the part beneath the surface that represents the values and beliefs that keep it afloat. Without the invisible section providing stability, our iceberg - or makerspace - will be unstable.
