Touch input apparatus including display module in which pressure electrode is formed, and method for forming pressure electrode

2016
A touch input apparatus facilitating detection of touch pressure is disclosed. The touch input apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a display panel having a pressure electrode for detecting pressure formed on a lower surface thereof; and a reference potential layer that is formed spaced apart from the pressure electrode, wherein touch pressure is detected on the basis of capacitance change due to changes in the distance between the pressure electrode and the reference potential layer. By this means, the touch input apparatus can have a much thinner thickness, can reduce manufacturing costs, and can detect a touch position and a touch pressure without reducing the visibility of the display module and light transmittance.
