Readily absorbable vip pharmaceutical

PURPOSE:To obtain the medicinal use of a vasoactive intestinal polypeptide (VIP)-like new compound, a readily absorbable type VIP pharmaceutical comprising a VIP-like agent, a surfactant and, as desired, a peptide hydrolase inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:The objective readily absorbable type pharmaceutical is obtained by blending L-leucine-17-VIP-homoserine, an amine or a higher fatty acid amide derivative mainly selected as a new VIP-like agent with a bile acid salt, saponin or a polyethylene glycol higher alcohol ether mainly selected as a surfactant and a hydrolase inhibitor of peptides for administration to digestive tracts. Medicines for the purpose of antiallergic, bloodstream increasing, hair growing, hypotensive, lacrimation promoting action, antiulcer and genital stimulating actions are cited as uses of the new VIP-like agent. This pharmaceutical provides various pharmaceutical types usable by patients themselves as the whole VIP-like pharmaceuticals and has effects on extension of the scope for the use of the VIP.
