Introduction: As the face of the part of the organism that is most exposed, and undergoes the process of premature aging, it deserves attention and practices that preserve its beauty. Objective: To analyze the benefits of hydrolyzed collagen supplementation on the skin of women who smoke (n = 7). Methods: Hydrolyzed collagen powder was supplemented daily for 90 days, which contains 45mg of vitamin C, 17 mcg of selenium, 3.5 mg of zinc and 9 g of hydrolyzed collagen. It was registered, through photos taken by a dermatologist, the face of the women before and at the end of the treatment, so that through this it could be made the skin evaluation by the doctor. Skin texture, hydration, wrinkles, spots and shine were evaluated. Results: Stains and wrinkles showed little or no improvement, hydration and texture varied between improvement and very good improvement, and shine had the best result, with very good improvement in all participants. Conclusion: Supplementation of hydrolyzed collagen is beneficial for some more superficial characteristics of the skin, without reducing the effect of wrinkles and blemishes. However, supplementation is recommended since collagen is a natural substance in the body, which is degraded throughout life, and this degradation is accelerated by smoking.
