Short range order determination in a ternary alloy Fe/sub 0. 56/Ni/sub 0. 23/Cr/sub 0. 21/

1982
The local atomic arrangement in a ternary alloy has been, for the first time, investigated by neutron diffuse scattering from three single crystals of three different isotopic compositions. The static displacements terms are shown to be small. The local order is very weak. The three sets of Cowley's parameters are measured.
