The invention discloses a binary environmental protection polyether ether ketone brake block material, the brake block material constitution and the volume fraction of each constitute are prepared from 70-95 parts of polyether ether ketone, 5-30 parts of surface chemical modification carbon nitride; the surface chemical modification carbon nitride is a strong ammonia water modification treated carbon nitride. The invention also discloses a preparation method for a brake block material. The brake block material is a binary composite structure, exempts any agglomerant, toughening agent or metal additives or the like, is environmentally friendly, and has less dust fall and small material specific gravity. In driving process, the material displays high abrasion resistant performance, comparatively high and stable friction coefficient, exempts from brake sharp noise situation, is suitable for preparing highly reliable and long service life brake block material. The composite material is simple in preparation process, strong in processing capability, can achieve brake block standardization and high efficiency production. The high performance composite material can be applied to car, wind power, mining machinery and sports machinery and more fields.
