Iron Speciation by Mssbauer Spectroscopy and Its Implications in Various Studies on the Earth Surface Processes

Iron is very important in the study of earth sciences for its ubiquitous distribution and chemical activity.Mssbauer spectroscopy is one of the most reliable and valuable techniques in iron species measuring by far.Many literature studies have showed that iron species had broad applications in the studies of the earth surface processes,including mineralogy,geology,geochemistry,landslide sleep zone,lacustrine sediment,spectra characteristics of rocks,heavy metal pollution and environmental remediation,etc.
