The present invention discloses a cascading failure model for considering the actual operation characteristics of power system dispatcher, which includes the following steps: (1) setting an upper limit of the number of simulation days of cascading failures (img file='2014106542441100004dest_path_image 001. TIF' wi='32' he='24' /), a branch overloading load rate threshold value (img file='107861dest_path_image002. TIF' wi='42' he='28' /); setting up normal conditions of AC power flow of each node in a system to be: the active power injection of PQ and PV nodes (img file='dest_path_image004. TIF' wi='48' he='31' /), the reactive power injection (img file='962684dest_path_image004. TIF' wi='42' he='26' /), and voltage (img file='dest_path_image005. TIF' wi='40' he='24' /), wherein, (img file='178640dest_path_image006. TIF' wi='13' he='19' /) is the node number; (2) initializing the number of days of the cascading failure (img file='dest_path_image007. TIF' wi='40' he='23' /); (3) simulating the (img file='573849dest_path_image008. TIF' wi='15' he='16' /)-th cascading failure process; (4) (img file='dest_path_image009. TIF' wi='62' he='16' /); and (5) executing step (3) if (img file='325904dest_path_image010. TIF' wi='57' he='24' /), otherwise step ends. The cascading failure model introduces and considers adjustments and simulations of the actual power system dispatcher in a cascading failure model, so that the cascading failure simulation reflects the interaction characteristics of a power system cascading failure process and the dispatcher, which can more accurately reflect the development characteristics of the cascading failure, and improve the practicability of the cascading failure model.
