Experimental investigation on mechanical properties of fabricating composite using Kevlar fiber

In this research work, the synthesis of Kevlar Fiber reinforced composites in different orientations is considered. The components are fabricated as per the ASTM standards. Such as ASTM D3039 for tensile specimen, D7264 for flexural specimen, D785 for hardness specimens are considered. The important mechanical properties considered are tensile strength, flexural strength and hardness values to evaluate with the objective such as - Fibers orientation along the length of the component, perpendicular to the length of the component, Fibers with mixed orientation i.e. combination of along the length and perpendicular to length.
