Lag Influence of Entrepreneurship Education on Employee Entrepreneurial Behavior in Artificial Intelligence Industry Against the Background of Internet

2021
Entrepreneurship education in schools not only imparts entrepreneurial knowledge, but also cultivates students' creative thinking and entrepreneurial spirit, which are particularly valued in the Internet age. The realization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) ideas often needs advanced platform support, which could hardly be provided in many universities. Many students majoring in AI who have received good entrepreneurship education choose to be employed first when they graduate and carry out entrepreneurial activities when the time is ripe. Drawing on human capital theory and self-efficacy theory, this study proposes a theoretical model of the impact mechanism of entrepreneurship education on the entrepreneurial behavior of employee in AI industry and tests the model with a sample of employees obtained by questionnaire. The results reveal that entrepreneurship education has a significant positive impact on the entrepreneurial behavior of employee in AI industry and that this relationship is mediated by entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Besides, employee's entrepreneurial alertness plays a positive moderating role between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial self-efficacy.
