KLİPPEL-TRENAUNAY SYNDROME; A CASE REPORT
2016
Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS) is a complex congenital anomaly, combined capillary, lymphatic malformation, skin pigmentations and limb hypertrophy. KTS is usually seen with lower extremity involvement, but may involve any organ system. Etiology has not been known yet. Management is normally conservative and includes stockings for compression of the branches to reduce edema, modern devices that cause on and off pneumatic compression, and seldom, surgical correction of varicose veins with lifelong follow-up. Here, a 49 years old female patient diagnosed as Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome was presented and the literature is reviwed.
