In the oil platforms, complex systems in terms of technology and work organization, working conditions exist are dangerous. This article aims to highlight only some of the various problems related to safety, working conditions and accidents on oil rigs. The results point both to the deterioration of security conditions, as for the immediate needs of the agencies involved in health surveillance of workers and firms to change their oil exploration techniques of accident investigation to allow control and prevention strategies broader in scope and impact.
