RELATÓRIO DE ESTÁGIO CURRICULAR SUPERVISIONADO EM MEDICINA VETERINÁRIA: CLÍNICA, CIRURGIA E REPRODUÇÃO DE BOVINOS

The internship was held at the company Pro-Agro Consultoria, in the city of Braco do Norte, from August 17 to October 23, 2020, totaling 360 hours, distributed in 40 hours per week, under the supervision of veterinarian Maxwel Bernardo Junior and guidance from Professor Ms. Joares Adenilson May Junior. During the internship period, 190 clinical cases, 16 surgeries and 25 properties with reproductive monitoring were followed. Of the cases monitored, 3 cases were selected to report, namely: Fetal mummification, Freemartinism in heifers and Hypocalcemia. The curricular internship is an important milestone for training in veterinary medicine, where it marks the end of graduation and the beginning of professional life and makes us leave the comfort zone, having contact with several people and professionals. The coexistence with rural producers and the diverse realities found, allowed to have the experience of the routine of the veterinarian in the field, being an enormous experience, both personal and professional.
