The electric motor and fan motor

2012
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of surely retaining ball bearings and a rotary shaft to a bearing holder without impairing functions of the ball bearings, and a fan motor.SOLUTION: The electric motor comprises: a stator 11 in which coils 10 are wound around a plurality of teeth 18b, respectively; a bearing holder 60 which is fixed in the center of the stator 11 in a radial direction and in which two ball bearings 93, 94 are interpolated; a rotary shaft 13 which is supported by the stator 11 in a freely rotatable manner via two ball bearings 93, 94; a rotor yoke 28 which is provided in the rotary shaft 13 and formed to cover the stator 11; and a plurality of magnets 30 which are disposed in the rotor yoke 28 so as to oppose the stator 11. In the bearing holder 60, a collar 70 is provided for holding relative positions of the two ball bearings 93, 94 and a convex portion 64 is provided.
