Display control apparatus for a remote control device

There is provided a display control apparatus for a remote control device (14). The display device (10) is adapted to an operating screen having a plurality of icons for accepting a display to a control target device (20a, 20b) directed operation. When the display of a first operation screen to a second operation screen having a different symbol arrangement is changed, the display control means (12) exchanges a symbol selection state of a selected on the first operation screen icon at a preset on the second operation screen beginning dial icon and causes the display control means (12), that the display device (10) displays a visual effect indicating a direction from the position of the selected one symbol to the position of the initial selection icon.
