Lignocellulolytic enzyme activities of Volvariella volvacea strains and their effects on biological conversion efficiency of cassava residue.
2014
【Objective】Lignocellulolytic enzyme activities of Volvariella volvacea strains and their effects on biological conversion efficiency of cassava residue were studied in order to provide scientific references for screening and breeding desirable strains of Volvariella volvacea and improving cultivation efficiency of cassava residue on Volvariella volvacea. 【Method】17 strains of Volvariella volvacea were cultivated on the cooked substrates using cassava residue as main constitutes. CMCase,Xylase and Laccase activities in the substrate were detected at pin stage. Statistics of biological efficiency were studied. The relationship between enzyme activities and fruit body yields was analyzed using SPSS 18.0 software. 【Result】Activities of CMCase, Xylase and laccase of Volvariella volvacea varied significantly. V9, V26, V10,V112,Vh and V wood-2 had high CMCase activities. V9, V112 and Vh had high Xylase activities. V9, V112, VL and V wood-2 had high laccase activities. Biological efficiency of different strains on cassava residue was significantly different. V112 had the highest biological efficiency(29.5%) followed by V9 and V wood-2(above 20.0%). Activities of CMCase, Xylase and laccase were positively related to biological efficiency and the relation coefficient(R2) was 0.2650, 0.2545 and 0.4729, respectively. 【Conclusion】CMCase, Xylase and laccase were all important factors affecting the conversation of cassava residue by Volvariella volvacea, and laccase was a key limiting factor. Among the 17 Volvariella volvacea strains, V9, V112 and V wood-2 had the highest biological conversion efficiency, so they were optimal strains for cassava residue substrate cultivation.
