Improved Dynamic Characteristics and reduced audible Noise at the load variation with high slope for 1kW SMPS

The test results of dynamic characteristics and reduced noise are presented in this paper. When the very fast load variation of 10A/us with 5kHz repetition rate instead of normal variation of 1A/2.5us is applied into the SMPS, the output choke makes large audible noise and high peak voltage of undershoot and overshoot. This paper shows the analysis and the experiment of improved dynamic characteristics as for the output ripple noise.
