Investigating Individual Engineers’ Moral Personality: Socialization and Judgment

The proposed research project investigates individual engineers’ moral personality: how it is shaped by institutional culture through both formal education and employment (socialization), and how it influences engineers’ ethical decision-making (judgment). The results of this study are expected to inform improvements in engineering ethics education, especially to support student-centered, individualized instruction, by addressing students’ individuality.
