Introduction: Light technologies are essential in health care. Objective: To analyze the adherenceof light technologies in obstetric nursing care. Methodology: Integrative literature review in LILACSdatabase, BDENF and Health - Mosaic. Results and discussion: The light technologies most used by nursesare: sprinkler bath, Swiss ball, music therapy, walking and/or free movement. Conclusion: Light technologiesare essential to promote the humanization of childbirth.
