FDR : Nouveau système de Bosch pour le contrôle de stabilité

1997
After the introduction of the systeme ABS(antiblockage) in 1978 and ASR(antiskidding) in 1986, Bosch has introduced a new active system of safety, the dynamic regulation of the vehicle or FDR. The FDR is proposing to the drivers the fundamental improved functions of the ABS/ASR in situations of longitudinal critical dynamics, emergency braking or sudden acceleration, and moreover an active assistance in the critical situations of transverse dynamics. The system improves the vehicle stability in every case. Then the road behaviour corresponds in these extreme conditions to situations that could be managed by the driver
