Signal splitter in electric-reflection spectrometer

1985
This paper describes a signal splitter for electric-reflection spectrometers variation of the gain of the operational amplifier that control the photomultiplier anode current is employed to keep the electric-reflection signals independent of the intensity distribution in the spectrum of the radiation from the source, the dispersion of the monochromator, and the nonuniformity of the sensitivity spectrum of the photomultiplier. The dynamic range of the automatic gain control is 40 dB.
