POLICIES AND CONCEPTS

Recent developments in interna- tional trade will have a significant impact on New Zealand's measurement infrastruc- ture, especially for chemical metrology. This article describes the background to these developments and outlines the activi- ties of the Measurement Standards Labora- tory, New Zealand's National Metrology Institute, in response to these develop- ments.
