Implementación y desarrollo de innovaciones en la universidad: análisis desde la percepción de los implicados

2013
The article illustrates the outcomes of a research which objective was to characterize the relationship and dynamics intervening in the processes of innovation in higher education institutions from the actors’ perspective. Six innovations of three different universities, diverse in scope, nature and phase of implementation were selected. Data from each innovation was gathered by means of interviews and focus groups with managers, implementers and innovators. Results show that greater differences can be found in perceptions among participants of the same innovation, and at the same time, there is more discrepancy between the perception of the actors of structural, system-wide and long-term impact innovations. On the contrary there exists greater agreement among participants of curricular innovations not involving a big group of persons, and with intensive leadership exerted.
