Paisagens como panorama e ritmos audiovisuais: percepção ambiental na pesca da Tainha

The project described in this article is a study of the knowledge, practices and interactions involved in watching for fish shoals and deploying seine nets during the mullet ( tainha ) fishing season in Florianopolis, Brazil. Through the use of panoramic photos, films, museum exhibitions and hypermedia, we challenge the audience to ‘see fish’ and enhance their perceptual skills. Translation: David Rogers
