Mathematical modelling of two-phase twisted flows using a modified large-particle method

Abstract The mathematical modelling of two-phase twisted flows in axially symmetric channels of complex configuration are considered using the equations of interpenetrating continua. A modification of the method of coarse particles is proposed for low subsonic flow velocities. The stability of the difference scheme is discussed. Results of calculations of two-phase flows in channels with twisted counter flows are presented.
