Electric power supply for a network of light emitting diodes

2014
The invention relates to an electric power steering device of an array of light emitting diodes (LEDi) electrically connected in series with each other between an entry point (EP) and an output port (PS) of said network, said device comprising a current source (10) common to all the diodes (LEDi) and for circulating a supply current (lied) from the entry point (EP) to the output point (PS). According to the invention the device comprises a bypass circuit (Ci) associated with each of the diodes (LEDi) electrically connecting a network connection to said point upstream of the diode (LEDi) and the associated output point (PS), so as to allow each branch circuit (Ci) to withdraw from said network or any part of the electric current flowing upstream of said connection point and to drive the current drawn towards the exit point (PS). Application to the lighting and / or signaling of motor vehicles.
