Antenna Topology Optimization Using BMOGWO Based on Competition and Teaching

A new efficient optimization method, called binary multi-objective grey wolf optimizer based on competition and teaching (BMOGWO-CT) mechanisms, is proposed for antenna topology optimization. This method reduces the calculation cost by reducing the number of calls to electromagnetic (EM) simulation software. Further, a design example of a compact ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna topology is given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method in saving computation time.
