Data sharing type area protection system based on IEC 61850

The invention discloses a data sharing type area protection system based on IEC 61850, which is based on a high-speed data communication network, a plurality of lines which are closely interrelated are considered to be used as one area, intelligent protection devices inside the area are mutually connected through optical fibers, GPS synchronous data are adopted, and the information is shared, therefore, the novel protection system is established. The protection system utilizes a plurality of points to share synchronous information, is capable of accurately judging a position of fault when the protection system is broken down, has the absolute selectivity of protection action during normal communication and can select a protection unit needed to be used as reserve protection action according to a topological structure and a fault wire position of a protected electric system when main protection is rejected or a circuit breaker does not work. Compared with the traditional reserve protection action, the intelligent reserve protection action of the area has short time and good selectivity and also greatly simplifies adjusting and matching work.
