Prevalência de fatores antropométricos e bioquímicos sobre o estado nutricional de adolescentes

Introducao e objetivo: Atualmente vivemos uma transicao nutricional caracterizada pelo aumento de casos de excesso de peso. Nesse aspecto, uma atuacao interdisciplinar pode auxiliar na escolha de acoes adequadas para a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos individuos. O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar o risco relativo de variaveis socioeconomicas, antropometricas e bioquimicas sobre o estado nutricional de adolescentes. Materiais e metodos: Participaram da pesquisa 554 adolescentes de ambos os generos, com idades entre 10 e 18 anos. Peso, altura e circunferencia da cintura (CC) foram aferidos para posteriormente realizar os calculos do Indice de Massa Corporal (IMC), a Razao Cintura Estatura (RCE) e o percentual de gordura corporal (% GC). Ocorreu tambem a mensuracao da pressao arterial (PA) e coleta sanguinea para determinacao do colesterol total, High-density lipoprotein (HDL) e Low-density lipoprotein (LDL), trigilicerideos (TG) e glicose. Alem da analise da classificacao socioeconomica da familia do adolescente. Os dados foram avaliados por meio de analise de regressao, utilizando-se o Software Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), versao 23.0. Foi considerado um nivel de significância de 5% (p<0,05). Resultados e discussao: Dos adolescentes avaliados, 57,4% (318) do sexo feminino e 42,6% (236) do sexo masculino. A maioria dos adolescentes apresentou eutrofia, contudo houve uma elevada frequencia de excesso de peso para o sexo masculino (24,2%) e para o sexo feminino (24,5%). Os achados de risco para obesidade/excesso de peso em adolescentes foram, CC elevada (OR: 13,37), RCE elevada (OR: 22,23), % GC elevada (OR: 9,88). Conclusao: Conclui-se que existe associacao do estado nutricional de adolescentes com fatores antropometricos. Besides the analysis of the socioeconomic classification of the adolescent family. The data were evaluated by means of regression analysis, using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), version 23.0. A significance level of 5% (p <0.05) was considered. Results and discussion: Of the adolescents evaluated, 57.4% (318) were female and 42.6% (236) were male. The majority of adolescents presented eutrophy, but there was a high frequency of overweight for males (24.2%) and females (24.5%). The risk of obesity / overweight in adolescents was high CR (OR: 13.37), elevated CRF (OR: 22.23), high CR% (OR: 9.88). Conclusion: It is concluded that there is association of the nutritional status of adolescents with anthropometric factors.
