The present invention relates to the field of robotics, there is provided a crawler drive mechanism having an elastic support comprising: a robot body, a steering mechanism, the drive mechanism and a controller; robot body comprised between head, body and tail, head and body portion the first arm is connected, the connection between the body portion and the tail portion by a second arm; a drive mechanism disposed within the aft portion, a third driving mechanism including a motor, a screw, fixing the slider and the tail ring; a third motor disposed in the inner screw and fixed with the screw; tail sleeve disposed between the fixed ring is provided, and a screw ring fixing the slider trailing screw end of the sliding of the slider is provided with double helical screw groove surface of the slider and the other end is fixed at the rear fixing ring, the ring is provided on the aft support leg fixed tail group; a controller disposed in the head of the robot body, a controller, respectively, the second and the third electrical motor connected to the first electromechanical machine. The present invention can work well in the rubble and pipe bore environment.
