Simulation of target location of T~2R radars with external radiators

T2R radar systems are typical in radar systems with external radiators and can use multiple transmitting stations to locate the targets,featuring anti-jamming and anti-stealth capabilities.A Time Summation of Arrival-Angle of Arrival(TSOA-AOA) location algorithm is proposed based on the features of the T2R reconnaissance and location system with the external radiators.The ellipse-angle mixed location equations are created through measuring the distance summation of arrival of two groups of signals and combining the direction finding data from the receiving station,and then are calculated and optimized to realize the target location.The Geometric Dilution of Precision(GDOP) is used to analyze the location performances of the algorithm under different station distributions.Finally,some conclusions with certain reference significance are reached for practical engineering applications.
