Optically Driven Spin Precession by Modulated Light Pulse Train in RF Dressed Rb Atoms

1996
The sublevel coherence or the spin precession has been generated by resonant pulses in a system of "Rb atoms dressed by resonant rf photons. The Hanle effect dressed atom has been observed in a rotating frame when the rf field is 90° out of with the light pulses, and the transverse pumping has been acheived under a effective field. A rotaty resonance of "Rh atoms has been studied by an irradiation pumping light modulated at the nutation frequency of the dressed atoms.
