Ocupação Irregular do Rio Paraguai: Fator Predominante para a não Acessibilidade dos Moradores, Cáceres/MT / Irregular Occupation of the Paraguay River: Predominant Factor for the Non-Accessibility of the Inhabitants, Cáceres / MT

Este artigo tem como finalidade apresentar a nao acessibilidade dos moradores do bairro Jardim Oliveira, na cidade de Caceres, Mato Grosso, diante da apropriacao da area marginal do rio Paraguai. Buscamos entender como esses fatos interferem nas relacoes socioambientais nos dias atuais dos moradores. Como e a acessibilidade dos moradores do Jardim Oliveira ao rio Paraguai? Como os moradores do Jardim Oliveira concebem os impactos ambientais que ocorrem na area marginal do rio Paraguai? O estudo e de carater descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, ancorada em fontes bibliograficas e documentais. Para a coleta de dados, utilizamos os procedimentos metodologicos pautados em observacao e em entrevista semiestruturada com roteiro previamente elaborado. As imagens registradas se constituiram como recursos de grande importância para a construcao dos resultados, da analise e interpretacao dos dados coletados, para os quais priorizamos as falas que viessem a contemplar o objetivo do estudo. Os resultados revelaram que a questao da acessibilidade ao rio e um dos fatores mais lamentados pelos interlocutores, pois se recordam como era a margem do rio antes da apropriacao. Ao longo da area marginal, constata-se a atividade de extracao de areia e implantacao de tablados, que sao geradores de significativos impactos ambientais aos moradores do bairro e para o proprio ecossistema. ABSTRACT This article aims to present the non-accessibility of the residents of the Jardim Oliveira neighborhood, in the city of Caceres, Mato Grosso, before the appropriation of the marginal area of the Paraguay river. We seek to understand how these facts interfere in the socio-environmental relations in the residents' current days. How is the accessibility of the residents of Jardim Oliveira to the Paraguay River? How do Jardim Oliveira residents conceive of the environmental impacts that occur in the marginal area of the Paraguay River? The study is descriptive with a qualitative approach, anchored in bibliographic and documentary sources. For data collection, we used the methodological procedures based on observation and semi-structured interviews with a previously prepared script. The recorded images were constituted as resources of great importance for the construction of the results, for the analysis and interpretation of the collected data, for which we prioritized the statements that would come to contemplate the objective of the study. The results revealed that the question of accessibility to the river is one of the factors most regretted by the interlocutors, as they remember what the river bank was like before the appropriation. Along the marginal area, there is the activity of sand extraction and implementation of platforms, which generate significant environmental impacts for the residents of the neighborhood and for the ecosystem itself.
