Living Donor Liver Transplantation Using a Right Lobe Graft With a Rare Segment 5 Cystohepatic Bile Duct Anatomical Variant

2020
Liver transplantation is the procedure of choice for patients with end-stage liver disease. Ideally, liver grafts are retrieved from brain-dead donors; however, in countries facing donor scarcity, living donor liver transplantation (LDLT) has been widely developed and accepted. This implies the use of partial grafts, with possible anatomical variations leading to anastomosis of multiple small vessels and/or bile ducts.
