Partial agonists of the insulin receptor

2015
It refers to a partial agonist of the insulin receptor comprising a first heterodimer insulin or insulin analog and a second heterodimer or insulin analog including each heterodimer one polypeptide chain and a polypeptide chain B, wherein the polypeptide a chain and the B chain polypeptide are linked via interchain disulfide bonds; wherein the first and second heterodimer insulin or insulin analogue are covalently linked together through a linking moiety connecting the side chain of an amino acid in or near the carboxy terminus of the two respective chain polypeptides B and the amino terminus of one to the least-chain polypeptides and the B chain is covalently linked to a substituent, with the proviso that the linking moiety does not include a disulfide bond. Also it refers to a pharmaceutical composition. Said partial agonist is useful in the treatment of diabetes type I, type II and gestational diabetes.
