The present invention relates to a cable-type secondary battery and its preparation. The cable-type secondary battery comprising: an inner electrode; and a separator layer - laminate sheet form external electrodes, which is spirally wound so as to surround an outer surface of the inner electrodes, the laminate is obtained by and the isolation layer so as to compress the outer electrode formed by integrating the isolation layer for preventing short-circuiting. According to the present invention, the counter electrode and the spacer layer is compressed together and to integrate non-uniform space between the spacer layer to minimize and reduce the thickness of the outer electrode of the battery to be produced, thereby reducing the resistance and improved ion conductivity within the cell rate. Further, the electrolyte is induced evenly supplied to the outer electrode active material layer and the separation layer in contact with the electrode electrolytic solution absorption, thereby improving the stability and performance of the cable-type secondary battery.
