Electromagnetic riveting process of titanium alloy structure

In view of the existing problem in common riveting method of the titanium rivet for a certain aircraft,the electromagnetic riveting was proposed,and some key parameters in electromagnetic riveting technology such as rivet die dimension,extending length,and riveting voltage were advanced through the experimental study.Then a new riveting device to solve the riveting of non-open titanium structure was designed.The results show that electromagnetic riveting can solve the existing problems of cracks in pier head for ordinary riveting in titanium.
