Intracranial Pressure in the Early Stage After SAH

1986
Besides the occurrence of vasospasm, diminished blood supply to the brain following aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage can also be caused by elevated intracranial pressure. Though bearing great pathophysiological importance, correlations of ICP and extent of subarachnoid haemorrhage within the first 72 hours before acute surgical repair of ruptured cerebral aneurysm have not been sufficiently investigated until now.
