A golf green hole map with magnetic pin location identifier

2007
A sign is provided which comprises a sealed frame housing a detailed map of the green of a golf hole. A magnetic marker C is located on the map and within the frame to show the position of the pin upon the green. The marker is moved to the required position by means of an additional magnet externally of the frame. The frame is preferably substantially permanently sealed, preferably by means of glazing beads. The sign shows the layout of the green and location of any hazards E. Other information about the hole may be provided, e.g. on the reverse of the sign, and/or adverts can also be provided. The information is sealed within the frame to protect it from the elements and vandals. It is also designed such that should the information change, then the seal may be broken, and the information replaced and the frame re-sealed.
