Study on Iron Removal Technology for Magnesium Carbonate

Application of iron removal technology with oxidation-reduction method in the preparation of magnesium carbonate was introduced.Effects of reaction time,reducing agents,oxidants and complexing agents on iron removal results were investigated.Results show that under the best conditions,the Iron content decreases to 0.016%.
