Co mbined g ingival enlargement is frequently observed in patients taking drugs such as calciu m channel blockers, anticonvulsants and immunosuppressant and may result fro m chronic and acute inflammatory changes. This can have a significant effect on the quality of life as well as increasing the oral bacterial load by generating plaque retention sites. Amlodipine, a third generation calciu m channel blocker has been shown to promote gingival enlargement. Very few cases have been reported till date. The management of gingival en largement was carried out by phase I therapy and the patient was evaluated every 6 weeks upto 9 months. Follo wing phase I therapy gingival inflammat ion subsided and the gingival health improved. Non - surgical periodontal therapy proves to be effective in
