The utility model discloses a detection and verification platform for an automatic water level gauge. The platform comprises a motor, a casing, a lead screw, a water level gaugecarrying platform, a lifting platform, a sliding block, a grating ruler and a base, wherein the vertical casing is fixed on the base; thewater level gaugecarrying platform is fixed at the upper end of the casing; the lead screw is mounted in the casing; the motor is mounted at one end of the lead screw; the transmission sliding block is mounted on the lead screw; the motor drives the transmission sliding block on the lead screw to move up and down along the lead screw; the lifting platform is fixed on the transmission sliding block; the grating ruler is fixed on the casing; a pointer is mounted on the lifting platform, and one end of the pointer points to the grating ruler; and a computer is electrically connected withthegrating ruler and awater level gauge placed on thewater level gaugecarrying platform. The platform is a device for verifyingthe precision, the measuring range, the sampling period and the tracking velocity of thewater level gauge, themovement position and the movement velocity of the lifting platform are controlled to simulate and measure changes of the water level, and the changes and automatic water level gauge data obtained throughsynchronous measurement are compared and analyzed to obtaintechnical indexes of the detected water level gauge.
