Regeneration of the active aluminum oxide catalyst in supercritical carbon dioxide

The nature of the compounds inactivating the active aluminum oxide catalyst is studied. The results of the catalyst regeneration by pure supercritical carbon dioxide and by the supercritical carbon dioxide modified with a polar additive (2 wt % dimethyl sulfoxide) are presented.
