El paisaje reciente de Sierra Nevada, documentos escritos de época y significado geográfico de la pequeña edad del hielo

Our knowledge of the Little Ice Age in Sierra Nevada (Spain) is being completed with the information inferred from historical documents (centuries XVII to XIX). The interpretation of the selected historical sources provides more data about the knowledge that we already have of this period based on sedimentary records. The information provided by historical documents, once interpreted and accurately dated, enable to reconstruct the geomorphological signifi cance that this cold period had on the landscape of the summit area of this Mediterranean massif.
