Pd(II)‐Catalyzed C—H Arylation of Aryl and Benzyl Weinreb Amides.

Whereas 3- and 4-substituted aryl Weinreb amides react with 3- and 4-substituted aryl iodides to afford monoarylated products and only trace amounts of diarylated compounds, 2-substituted aryl Weinreb amides as well as 2-substituted aryl iodides are unreactive.
