Automated Method for Magneto-optical Sensors Characterisation

The novel use of the longitudinal magneto-optical eflect for the development of residual current devices is discussed The need for a reliable measurement system for the characterisation of candidate materials is addressed. Due to the importance of estab- lishing a set of candidate materials for implementing such devices. Results from tests using the developed system and a ferrofluid sensor are presented
