Příspěvek k poznání provenience sedimentů střední části Boskovické brázdy

Provenance study of the Early Palaeozoic terrestrial deposits in the middle part of the Boskovice basin is based on the gamma-ray analyses, pebble analyses, study of thin sections, analysis of the main chemical elements and chemistry of garnet and rutile. The source areas significantly differ for various lithostratigraphical members of the basin. The role of recycling of older basin infill and intense weathering of primary material was important. Its source at the eastern mainland and also axial transport of the material (ie. in S–N direction) are assumed for a deposition of the Letovice Formation.
