Tissue culture and rapid propagation of Dendrobium loddigesii Rolfe

This article studied tissue culture and rapid propagation of Dendrobium loddigesii Rolfe., including induced germination of lateral buds, formation of rosette buds, induction of roots and condition of trans-cultivation. The results showed that the optimal media for bud induction, propagation, root induction and cultivation were MS+NAA 0.1mg/L+6-BA 1.0mg/L, MS+NAA 0.1mg/L+6-BA3. 0mg/L, 1/2MS+NAA 0.7mg/L, and carbine stone:saw dust=1:2 respectively. The propagation coefficient was 6.2, and the survival rate of tubing shoots approached 95%.
